First-time buyers click on the URL, create a new Shopper account and enter your billing and shipping details. During your account creation you'll be asked for your Twitter credentials. Here's how we use them:
Each Vendor store and item is listed by the individual Vendor. They set the prices, the return and shipping policies. TwoTweet manages the billing, digital delivery and calculating sales tax (sorry California). Make sure you review these if you've never purchased from a Vendor before.
Already signed up with TwoTweet? This is where it gets fun. If your favorite vendor lists a product you've got to have, you can buy it via two quick Tweets! There are two ways to initiate a purchase via a Tweet:
Send an @reply to the Vendor's Twitter account and include the product URL. This keeps it between you and the Vendor.
ReTweet the message (make sure it includes the URL). This lets your Followers know about the product as well
You'll get a Direct Message from the Vendor that looks like this asking you to confirm your purchase. The final price (including tax if any) will be displayed
TwoTweet will send you a confirmation Tweet including the total price of the item including any tax and shipping costs and all you have to do is send a direct message to @TwoTweet including the zip code for the shipping address you registered with us and we'll confirm the order! It's that easy...complete checkout in just Two Tweets!
If you see any other offers from vendors using TwoTweet and you've already registered - you can still Tweet to buy! There will always be a product link present so you can view the item and the Vendor's policies in case you haven't shopped with them before.
Security is key. TwoTweet protects your billing information during your registration via full SSL / HTTPS 128-bit encoding and secure transfer to PayPal. After that PayPal protects and TwoTweet doesn't keep any of you credit card details on our servers.
When you purchase via Twitter, we ONLY ship to the address on file and email the address you gave us for digital download links. And because you have a separate login for TwoTweet and Twitter, your TwoTweet account can't be hacked just by knowing your Twitter credentials.
